WBCT_LA terminal info image The West Basin Container Terminal provides contracted stevedoring and terminal services in the Port of Los Angeles at berths 100 - 102 and 121 - 131. WBCT currently offers these services to China Shipping, COSCO, Hanjin, K-Line, Wan Hai Line, Yang Ming, and Zim. WBCT's fully supported services include a complete equipment M&R facility, and the handling of hazardous, dry, refrigerated containerized and non-containerized cargo.

WBCT currently consists of approximately 261 acres, encompassing 5,000 feet of berthing space with a MLLW depth of 45 feet. Four Panamax container vessels call WBCT per week. WBCT currently handles approximately 650,000 container moves per year. WBCT has 3 panamax and 9 post-panamax gantry cranes. In addition, WBCT can operate up to 12 transtainers, 22 tophandlers and 4 sidehandlers.

WBCT operates an on-dock rail facility that is capable of handling 2,800 rail moves per week. This on-dock rail facility has 3 loading tracks and 3 storage tracks.

The WBCT gate complex contains state-of-the-art computer technology. The gate complex contains 16 in lanes, 5 have scales and 4 are bobtail lanes. There are two out gates with a total of 14 lanes. WBCT handles approximately 700,000 trucker interfaces per year.
